Designers of furnishing fabrics, paints and wall and floor coverings. Available at selected interior designers and retail outlets. The majority of Malabar fabrics are made using time-honoured methods, which cannot be re-created using power looms. The fabrics are yarn-dyed in hanks to give superb colour yield, and are then hand-woven on floor looms. Malabar collections include curtain and upholstery weight fabrics in rainbow colours, often inspired and created in far-flung areas of the Indian subcontinent.
