Contract Opportunity for Security Guarding Service

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) invites expressions of interest for the provision of a Security Guarding Service and extends the M11 Logistics Centre deadline.

Submissions
The ODA is seeking pre-qualification submissions from organisations capable of operating a Security Guarding function of the site perimeter and common areas during the construction of the Olympic Park Site (OPS), from Q3 2008 through, and during the legacy transformation. There is also a possibility that the same contractor would provide a Security Guarding function during the Games.

The Security Guarding requirement encompasses the following:
- perimeter protection;
- operation of access/exit control process;
- internal security patrols;
- monitoring of CCTV and alarms;
- screening activities at Logistics Centres on the M11 and A13;
- management of the ODA supplied security equipment; and
- supply and operation of accommodation and welfare facilities.

The Security Guarding contractor will provide:
the guarding service utilising technology and physical security measures provided by the ODA.  Security within the site boundary of the venues being constructed on the Olympic Park will be the responsibility of the tier one construction contractors.
