LondonMICE gets a new CAT!

LondonMICE is pleased to announce that Ian Fraser, former Natural History Museum General Manager - Conference and Events, will join the Board of Directors of LondonMICE.  This makes him the latest member of the CAT (Cluster Action Team) to join the organisation.

Richard Waddington, Chair and Cluster Champion of LondonMICE commented “we’re delighted that Ian has agreed to join us and to graciously give his time to this worthy cause.  He will undoubtedly become a pivotal force in LondonMICE’s development, with his extensive experience, contacts and commitment to our industry.”

Fraser brings with him 30 years event and hospitality industry experience, 15 of which were spent as General Manager – Conference and Events, at the Natural History Museum, one of London’s top venues. Importantly, he also founded, and subsequently became Chairman of, Unique Venues of London, an association of 63 distinctive London venues, which has clear synergies with LondonMICE.

Fraser said “I’m looking forward to helping LondonMICE achieve its strategic vision of becoming the foremost London-based online resource for event planners.  I believe that my particular skill set and knowledge will bring some useful ideas to help LondonMICE’s growth.”
