The position
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and personable caterer to join our sales team as an Event Co-ordinator. This is a vital and exciting role within the events process encompassing every aspect from enquiry to billing, and involves liaison with both our clients and venues to ensure that we deliver events which exceed our clients’ expectations and maintain our standing with the venue we represent.
You will also be involved with both reactive and pro active sales: you will need to be able to recognise and act upon sales opportunities and therefore you must have had some experience of sales and converting business. As you will be meeting and presenting to clients you must be confident and impeccably presented.
Your will be joining a friendly and committed team, working from our offices in south east London, but you will also be out and about with clients and venues, and of course attending events on a regular basis.
Ideal candidates
To succeed in this role you must have had some previous experience in a sales capacity. You will be articulate, IT literate and have excellent communication skills. Attention to detail, a ‘can do’ attitude and a passion to deliver awesome events are absolutely crucial!
Some knowledge of London event venues will be beneficial, but more importantly you will be a real ‘foodie’ with a love of fine food and wine.
