Key Account Manager - circa £40,000 p.a. plus generous bonus potential

The position
This is an exciting opportunity for a pro active sales professional to join one of London’s leading event caterers and to really make a mark in the events industry.  We are looking for an energetic, influential and target driven manager with considerable experience in the hospitality industry, whose primary role will be to grow the business with our key clients and venues.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for planning and actioning a strategy to generate and convert business from our major accounts, both clients and venues.  Drawing on previous experience and knowledge you will be able to identify and access key clients in the corporate market and develop a relationship through to confirmation of events.

Your will be joining a friendly and committed team based in our offices in south east London, but you will also be out and about with clients and venues and, of course, attending events.

Ideal candidates
To make an impact in this role you will need to have substantial commercial experience and industry knowledge. 

You will be resourceful and self sufficient, but also able to integrate with a high-achieving team.  You must have proven expertise in developing and delivering strategic sales and marketing plans, strong customer service focus and excellent IT skills.   Polished personal presentation is of course pre-requisite.

You should be fully conversant with all aspects of the corporate events industry and a passion for contemporary food and wines is absolutely crucial to this role.
