Job Description
Established in 1995, the client supplies the highest quality canapés and meal components to first class sectors of many major international airlines as well as other premium travel industries
You will co-ordinate and convert enquiries for the client , for both events and deliveries, actively working as part of the Sales Team to increase and enhance the level of sales. Focusing on proactively selling client services by various techniques and always aiming to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations. You will also focus on office management and maintaining the systems for effective client communication.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Main Job Spec:
- Office based
- Research calls to find contact names from areas agreed by Business Development Manager
- Cold Calling to contact names as above
- Development of new contacts to arrange appointments for Business Development Manager or conversion into sales proposal and ultimately booking
- Administration of web sales enquiries – where appropriate converting sale
- Collation and input of analytical data required for sales plan
- Management and research of databases - continuous update and cleaning of Sales database system
- Co-ordinate and design of mail shots with Sales Development Manager
- Respond to basic event proposal enquiries, passing over to event co-ordinator or BDM depending on requirements of sale
- Clear communication, through correct info processing and recording so pass over of event sale/file is effective
- Regular competitor analysis
- Possible attendance at after office hours events
- Overseeing department in BDM’s absence
Commission Targetting
Commission will be linked to the following:
- Sales Revenue
- Telephone Calls
- Conversion ratio (events only)
