Job Description
Event Manager wanted for a specialised catering company dedicated to serving fantastic food and brilliantly organised events. Join the team working on high profile weddings, launch parties, and corporate functions.
This position encompasses both sales and operations, and involves all aspects of looking after clients from the time of the initial enquiry, through to the actual event.

Day to day duties will include :
· taking enquiries
· creating individual events
· preparing quotations
· meeting clients and attending site visits 
· arranging and hosting food tastings for our clients.

The Event Manager will attend events and must be able to lead the staff on-site and manage the operation of the event.

Required Skills and Desirable Attributes
To be successful in this position applicants will have knowledge of and enthusiasm for fine food and wine, an artistic flair and excellent attention to detail. They must be confident in developing positive relationships with clients and venues and have the ability to promote and secure business.

Applicants should have had experience in a similar or related role, and a good knowledge of London venues would be useful. Good computer skills and accurate presentation are essential. Sales focused with the ability to close business successfully and consistently
