Sales Person
The Window Venue Hire Company is looking to recruit a Salesperson with excellent PR, communication and commercial skills to be part of a small and experienced team.
The position would be ideal for a graduate with experience in Sales, PR, Communication or Marketing or a person with proven sales skills in the meeting, events and conferences industry.
You will be involved in sales of the venue space to corporate, government and ngo clients, and to liaise with clients on such events. You will be paid a basic salary c£22-24,000 pa + generous commission structure.
The following is a Job Description of what the role entails on a day to day basis.
Sales and Public Relations:
- To call and develop relations with potential clients who made enquires in the past into bookings. Ensure they have our venue details on file.
- Set up meetings and presentations with clients and invite them for “show rounds”.
- To identify and call key clients and record details of their events program.
- Create brand awareness and develop corporate, governmental and ngo clients.
- Write PR releases of our activities to industry websites, and magazines.
- Organize press releases and special promotions via html email.
- Prospect and develop database
- Produce prospect sales report
- Update website
- Go to industry networking events
- Email marketing material to clients
- The hours will be between 9.00 am ~ 5.30 pm.
