Key Account Manager - Circa £40,000 p.a. (plus generous bonus potential)

The Moving Venue Caterers enjoys a highly regarded position within London’s event catering industry.  The team  specialise in catering for high profile, large or complex events in prestigious and unusual venues and are proud of their accreditation at over 40 event venues.  Through delivering a high quality, consistent and client focused product the team have, over the last 23 years, developed and maintained our position at the forefront of the industry. 

Exciting
Moving Venue Caterers have an exciting opportunity for a pro active sales professional in its company and to really make a mark in the events industry.  The team are looking for an energetic, influential and target driven manager with considerable experience in the hospitality industry, whose primary role will be to grow the business with their key clients and venues.

Responsible
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering a strategy to generate and convert business from our major accounts, both clients and venues.  Drawing on previous experience and knowledge you will be able to identify and access key clients in the corporate market and develop a relationship through to confirmation of events.

Your will be joining a friendly and committed team based in their offices in south east London, but you will also be out and about with clients and venues and, of course, attending events.

Impact
To make an impact in this role you will need to have substantial commercial experience and industry knowledge.  You will be resourceful and self sufficient, but also able to integrate with a high-achieving team.  You must have proven expertise in developing and delivering strategic sales and marketing plans, strong customer service focus and excellent IT skills.   Polished personal presentation is of course pre-requisite.

Fully conversant
You should be fully conversant with all aspects of the corporate events industry and a passion for contemporary food and wines is absolutely crucial to this role.
