A leading London Events Company is Looking to add a Senior Sales Manager to their team.
The key task of the role is to develop business by attracting new clients and to develop existing customer relationships.
Duties will include
• Planning a new business strategy to ensure targets are met
• Defining target markets, reaching decision makers, and developing ongoing relationships
• Monitoring the activities of the sales team ensuring calls, mail outs, show rounds etc are performed on time
• Designing and implementing a marketing and advertising strategy and attending networking functions to raise the profile of the company
• Researching competitors and ensuring that services offered are competitive in quality and pricing
• Attending events to support key clients as well as the operations team, and to attract the interest of new clients
Qualifications and experience
This position requires someone who has worked for a top event company or caterer who has an existing network of contacts and in-depth knowledge of the industry. You should be able to demonstrate the potential new business that you can bring to this role; the salary offering is highly negotiable if we are able to secure someone who will bring in the appropriate volume of business.
You should have:
• At least 5 years in the events industry in a managerial role
• Financial experience with the ability to put together detailed forecasts
• Experience in managing events at every level
• Accounts management experience of large blue-chip companies would be a distinct advantage
