100 Years of Service - the Bonnington Group

The Bonnington Group is the proud recipient of a Coat of Arms recognising a century of hospitality, the corporate Coat of Arms being something that can only be awarded to a company that is well established, of sound financial standing, and be a leading or respected body in its field.

Exciting
Says Alan Bostock, the group’s Operations Director, ’It is indeed exciting for the group to be awarded its’ own Coat of Arms as it is a recognition of what we have achieved in the 100 years we’ve been around. We are all very pleased and look forward to bringing this very English tradition with us in our expanding global business’.

Latin legend
The Coat of Arms which bear the Latin legend ’Semper Acceptus’ meaning ’Ever Welcome’ underscores the group’s commitment to hospitality as do many other elements such as the red elephant at the crest of the Coat of Arms and the supporters on either side of the shield, in this case the gold beaver and badger. Both animals are famous for their home-making skills in diverse habitats, which alludes to the diversity of the company both in geography and in people. The red elephant is an Indian symbol of hospitality and alludes to the Arms of the London Borough of Camden, the geographical origins of the group in Bloomsbury. The Coat of Arms was specially designed to reflect  the Bonnington Group’s achievement and future direction.

Established
The Bonnington Group owns hotels in London, Eastbourne, Ireland and Dubai in addition to business activities in the United Arab Emirates. Its portfolio covers the hospitality, property investment and development, and real estate sectors.
