LondonMICE Star in the Millennium Gloucester Hotel First Anniversary of Refurbishment

It all started with a text from Dr. M offering me the role of Rocky himself in the Rocky Horror Show Night (a tribute). I shared the news to those present with a professional air, nonchalantly sent an acceptance text back to the good Dr. – and rushed off to Google “Rocky Horror,” and find out what the hell it was all about.

The Dr. M takeover  
The evening was hosted by Adrian Silas AKA Dr. M, of Masquerade Events, to showcase the Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre.  Acts included Peter Straker and his band (Area 51), Jason Maverick and a cast and crew of two dozen event and entertainment professionals from the UK and Europe.  More than 550 guests were entertained in the Sentosa Suite on arrival by Rocky Horror characters including a Gargoyle, Mad Professor, Mummy and even Frankenstein!  They then made their way downstairs to The Orchard Suite where the main event was.

Enormous
A central circular bar was the focal point in the Orchard room with an enormous stage and projection screens showcasing the evenings entertainment.

Guests also had the pleasure of a special live performance of Happy Birthday by Imagination's Lee John, the great 80's soul performer who made Body Talk a No 1 hit.
