The Royal Society of Medicine has re-launched its newly-refurbished conference, hospitality & meetings facilities as One Wimpole Street.
For over two hundred years, the Royal Society of Medicine has been a place where doctors, dentists, vets and other allied healthcare professionals have got together to debate the issues of the day. But what many people have been unaware of, is that this central London venue is now opening its doors to clients from every industry sector.
The RSM already welcomes over 50,000 visitors each year and arranges more than 600 events. It has recently been further improved to an extremely high standard and One Wimpole Street now boasts some of the highest quality – and most versatile – conference and events facilities in central London.
Janice Liverseidge, Communications Director of the Royal Society of Medicine says “the new branding of our central London venue now makes us far more welcoming to non-health related clients who will benefit greatly from being able to use our first class facilities.”
The rebranding process was undertaken by Circle, a brand and design consultancy, whilst working alongside key personnel within the Royal Society of Medicine. To enhance the rebranding process further, the Royal Society of Medicine approached Graphico, a creative digital agency, to create a website that focuses on the external marketing of the refurbished venue to both new and existing customers. One Wimpole Street now has a brand image and website that is strong, clear and reflects the high quality on offer.
Nigel Collett, Operations Director of the Royal Society of Medicine says “we look forward to welcoming new clients from new non medical business sectors in organising their forthcoming events in our state of the art venue.”
Redevelopment has increased conference capacity at this prestigious venue and it now has two state-of-the-art lecture theatres; one seating 300 delegates, the other 150. Both lecture theatres boast high-spec audio-visual facilities (including handheld microphone/response/ voting systems) and luxury leather seating. The 300-seat Main Lecture Theatre and the 150-seat Max Rayne Auditorium can be video-linked to provide a meeting space for 450 delegates.
A beautiful glass-walled Atrium is a stunning setting for dinners, buffets, pre-dinner drinks and receptions.
